Luminox Blackout Watch Review

Luminox Blackout Watch Review
Luminox goes stealth with the Blackout 6402BO watch! The watches case and bracelet are stainless steel and have a PVD application applied to give the watch the “blackout” appearance. The best part about Luminox watches is the now famous Tritium Gas Illumination System. The Blackout watch uses blue tritium tubes that illuminate blue, giving further uniqueness to this watch. There is even a gas filled capsule in the bezel where the lume dot would be located. It is protected by sapphire crystal and the dial is as well. The tritium tubes are used at every hour marker and on all the hands and will glow all night long, 24/7 in the dark. The hands and numerals are black, while the dial is very dark gray in appearance. The Blackout 6402 is powered by a Swiss Quartz movement secured in the 46mm case.
Like all Luminox watches, it is tough and rugged. It also meets or exceeds all U.S. Armed Forces Military Specifications, that’s tough!

Pros - Stealth look works well on this watch, blue tritium illumination, rugged

Consideration - PVD can not be buffed out for scratches/scuffs
