Luminox Deep Dive Automatic Review

Luminox Deep Dive Watch Review

Luminox dives deep with the Deep Dive Automatic 1500 series. Luminox is known for making tough and rugged watches, they stay true with this serious dive watch. The Deep Dive is offered in four different hour marker dial combinations, blue, yellow, white, and orange. All of the choices have a great visual contrast against this blacked out watch. Illuminated nicely with Luminox Light Technology or “LLT”, these tubes will shine consistently for 25 years. One of the more unique features is the Bezel Lock System or “BLS”. This prevents the bezel from accidentally moving, once locked into place. The BLS helps ensure elapsed time is not shortened should the unidirectional bezel get moved. This Bezel Lock System also doubles as crown protector, very innovative.
The quick list of what you get with the Deep Dive, 500m water resistance, LLT, BLS, automatic ETA 2826-2 movement, extra thick sapphire crystal, PVD stainless steel case, large date window at 3 o’clock, and to top it all off an automatic HEV “helium escape valve”. Luminox did a nice added little touch with a diving helmet stamped on the case back, just incase you forget you are in the presence of a serious divers watch.

Pros - Visual contrast, construction, HEV, LLT, BLS

Consideration - One of Luminox more expensive timepieces
