Tag Heuer Carrera Chronograph Calibre 17 RS Review

Tag Heuer Carrera Calibre 17 RS Watch

The Tag Heuer Carrera Chronograph Calibre 17 RS watch is a big advancement  in watch making from Tag Heuer. The Grand Carrera Chronograph RS is designed after a high performance engine of a GT sports car and presents a revolutionary new way of telling time. The breakthrough comes from the exclusive new Rotating System (RS), a new technology replacing hands with rotating disc.  This new system provides at a glance easy to read chronograph functions. The movement is built off of an ETA 2894 and is C.O.S.C. certified. There is a fantastic looking big date window at the 6 o’clock position, along with the very unique chronograph windows. The dial is visible through double AR coated sapphire crystal and a sapphire case back to view this nice movement. The dial features a hand applied TAG Heuer logo and curved markers for denoting the hours.

Pros - A great new version of a classic watch, new movement, C.O.S.C., very well finished watch and movement.

Considerations - Lacking in the lume department.
