TW Steel CEO Canteen Review

TW Steel CEO Canteen TW1015 Watch Review

The TW Steel CEO Canteen series is becoming a favorite in the TW Steel line up. This is the TW1015 chronograph version coming in at 45mm, also offered in the even larger 50mm. Aesthetically, the “canteen” protecting the crown is a nice visual aspect of this watch. The canteen is unscrewed and moved outward attached to the watch case by a swinging arm. This unveils the now exposed crown to adjust the time and date. The dial is a bit busy with the thin minute markers for W&R tastes. There are two chronograph pushers, one very visible, the other is located between the canteen’s arm. The CEO Canteen TW1015 has the standard subdials locations, 9 o’clock chronograph minutes, 6 o’clock chronograph seconds, and 3 o’clock 24 hour timer. The watch has a tachymeter bezel that works well with the overall look of the timepiece.
Really like the combination of the red stitched leather strap and the red subdial hands. The small date window is tucked away at the 4:30 location. The numeral twelve stands alone against the stick hour markers, nice touch. Overall, this CEO Canteen offers a better than average value and looks sharp if you like busier dials.

Pros - Canteen crown guard, chronograph, red accents

Consideration - Busy dial
