Victorinox Swiss Army Maverick GS Review

Victorinox Swiss Army Maverick GS Watch Review

Victorinox Swiss Army Maverick editions have done very well since they were first introduced 6 years ago. The new GS (Grand Sport) will surely continue the popularity of the Maverick line with it’s new updated looks. Maverick GS’s are offered in three versions, dual time, chronograph, and three hand. This review of the Dual Time or GMT is my favorite in the new line up. The two best features about this watch is the big date at 12 o’clock and the second time zone with hour and seconds hand at 6 o’clock. Aesthetically, Victorinox Swiss Army did a fantastic job. The hour hands, date window, and bolder design, all work very well on this watch. It is offered on rubber, but you are generally better to get the stainless steel bracelet first. Bracelets usually cost more after the initial purchase as a general rule of thumb. Overall, the Maverick GS is a winner, especially with the new larger case at 43mm.

Pros - New bolder design, larger case, price point

Consideration - Ronda quartz movement (around W&R we lean towards automatics)
