Nixon The Unit Watch Review

Nixon The Unit Black Watch Review
Nixon is always keeping their watches stylish and hip, this one is no different. Nixon calls this watch The Unit and is offered in a wide arrange of polycarbonate colors options. Almost to many choices to choose from, 13 to be exact! Here is the long list of Nixon color choices: black/red, neon orange, white/black, steel gray/yellow, gray/black, navy, rasta, matte black/surplus, green, yellow/navy/blue, yellow/black, white, surplus/black/orange ano, and for this review black.
All black watches have been quite the rage for a few years now. The Unit fits well into the all black popularity. The Unit is constructed of a durable polycarbonate plastic. This watch can take a solid beating, built for active use. As mentioned, the watch is packed full of features, including dual time, timer, chronograph, alarm, and a light. Though, W&R favorite feature of this digital watch is a temperature gauge. Not 100% sure with The Unit, but most watches that give a temperature reading are heavily effected by body/wrist temperature. If nothing else, something to keep in mind. The watch is not small, coming in at a whopping 49mm! Nixon did a nice job by equipping the watch with a 24mm strap to balance out the large face diameter. The one downside is The Unit has mineral crystal. W&R much prefers sapphire crystal, but recognizes at this price point that is not feasible. Overall, a stylish watch that fits well into the younger active market place.

Pros - good looks, price point, functions
Consideration - size, mineral crystal
