|Limes Endurance Leviathan Dive Watch|
One of the great aspects of the Endurance Leviathan is it's straight forwardness. Anymore, so many watches coming to market are over styled or overtly trying to be different. What's wrong with an affordable, well made made watch? Absolutely nothing!
The dial is executed extremely well. Very easy to read, with almost perfectly proportioned indices. The hands mimic the indices, with each section of the hand being matched up to the shape of the markers. Of course, this dive watch has SuperLumiNova coated, indices, hands, and PIP. An applied black PVD coating is used on the bezel. As mentioned many times in W&R reviews, W&R is not a big fan of PVD anything beyond appearance. Looks great, but aesthetically will not look good with regular wear and tear over time. There is a date window at the 6 o'clock position. Limes used a black date wheel, great choice instead of white. For a dive watch, the Endurance Leviathan is slender coming in at 13.5mm thick. A Sellita SW200 powers this 300m of water resistance dive watch. This movement has become increasingly more popular with the "ETA" situation. The SW200 is comparable to the ETA 2824 and has been well received.
Limes offers the Endurance Leviathan with stainless steel bracelet or a black rubberized leather strap. The watch is just north of 1K USD and has no shortage of competition amongst the endless dive watch market place. That said, Limes has not priced it out of the market. If you are looking for a straightforward, larger diver, with a well executed dial this just might be the watch.
Pros - clean dial, affordable
