  The Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Compressor Diving Pro Geographic (long enough name!) mens watch is a Swiss masterpiece. Among it’s many features is the depth gauge, power reserve indicator, date, and second time zone. A beautiful in-house automatic Jaeger LeCoultre Caliber 979 movement, 29 jewels, and 28,800 vph. If you can afford this diver, other watches will probably get very minimal wrist time. This definitely qualifies as the “Grail” watch for many divers.

Pros - It’s a JLC (Jaeger LeCoultre), excellent in-house movements, will not see this watch everyday on the street, fantastic piece of art and watch craftsmanship.

Consideration - Large wrist presence.

  Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso’s as a series are highly recognizable and very well respected. The JLC Reverso Squadra Hometime has the classic styling with some contemporary twist. The dial is beautiful in its new more square case, the case is 35mm. One of my favorite features is the AM/PM display at the 9 o’clock position, this coincides with the travel timezone red hour hand. There is also a date display window at 3 o’clock. The dial has a guilloche design, which offers a nice contrast for the numerals for at a glance reading. Reversing the Squadra to show the opposite face it displays the attractive 29 jewel JLC Calibre 977 automatic movement, with a 48 hour power reserve. The Reverso Squadra is offered on a rubber deployant bracelet or alligator strap, both accent the watch nicely.

Pros - A true classic, wear with jeans or a tux

Consideration - Water resistance, wish more dress watches would be 100m
